  I randomly found this just by driving by & had to give it a shot. I was highly recommend by friend that live on this sound of town
  LIFE CHANGER ! ... I must say
  I come from the South Bay & this place so far has been one of the best italian places I've tried.
  
  I walked in the first time & really clean & friendly environment & was greeted well  
  Amber was the girl who attended this evening.
  I ask for recommendations on what to have & I let her choose my meal.
  Come back with a lasagna that was pretty epic !
  I also took a pepperoni pizza to go for my folks to try which the really enjoyed.
  
  So guess I have to bring the fam here you've won a Customer!

  One of the best experiences ever! I came in really not knowing much of this little place, I was really hungry and searched yelp and I'm thankful I found this new restaurant. My servers were so nice and welcoming they recommended the chicken piccata and it was good but the chicken parmigiana was delicious. My friend ordered it and was able to finish it all by herself. The plate portions are really big I would suggest getting one full entree for two people I couldn't finish mine. A full entree comes with a soup or salad, the soup I got was the vegetable soup it was really good, my gf got the chili soup and it was really good as well. If you get there during lunch time it's half off same great tasting food for only 9 bucks!

  For the price not very good.
  19.00 for a pizza size of a small, supposing to be medium. Taste mediocre, expected more for that price. Pizzamania 10 times better

  After sticking to take out, my family decided to give dining in another shot. Our meal was delicious, however the service continues to not be worth the tip. Our waitress was very inattentive. Her lack of service would be better understood if her other tables were being tended to but they weren't.  Every time the door to the back opened we'd see her just standing there talking instead of doing her job. It was really frustrating.
  As we left I noticed a great deal of the staff just standing around. I wanted to make a comment to a manager but it seemed that no one was around. :/
  
  None the less, my family did enjoy their pizza and the bbq wings. Will be returning to take out only.

  My family and I have been going to Pinas now for about 20-25 years, and never once have we thought that it wasn't good or we shouldn't come back. The pizza, from sauce to crust is delicious, and don't get me started on their ranch. I don't really enjoy getting salads but I will only get them here because of that ranch. The waiters and staff are very attentive and were always happy to give me more ranch lol but to refill my drink or ask if it was good. I strongly believe that it is the best pizza shop in Downey.  Can't wait to keep coming back for many more years to come.
